Frozax: thanks for sharing that info, I didn't know that (and by looking at Jake's comment, he seemed to have the same problem :)

Jay: yeh, exactly.

Hum, you are wrong about Plimus. I use Plimus to sell my games, and the same account to sell other's games. It's working without any problems!
Maybe it can help, but I know I created my account as a vendor. And then added affiliate games. Hope this helps.

You've hit one of my pet peeves.

While two different checks / deposits aren't such a big deal, if you generating less than the monthly / period threshold in volume with one or the other, it's that much longer before you'll get the funds distributed (maybe that's part of their business strategy? They invest that money and make interest off of it or something?)

I have affiliated games on my vendor account with Plimus, but it's extremely annoying as they do not allow me to track the affiliate sales (except manually). How hard would it be? I've complained to them about it, but their response was pretty much, "Too bad, that's just how it is."

I don't get it.

I personally think that most indie game devs should also be affiliates. It's some extra pocket change, and if we all do it, we help grow the pie a little bit.
