We’ll see what happens within the next year.

I predict you will have 3 times as many monthly unique visitors. In a years time see if I'm wrong!

I'm going to go look at what I mumbled a year ago now, when I trackback I expect some link love! ;)

"Don’t walk in the dark where I was basically saying not to accept everybody’s advice. I believe that’s a good tip after a year. Questioning authority comes hand-in-hand with this piece of advice. I still agree with this"

Very good advice, especially in the entertainment industry. I'm so tired of hearing "Mr. X said it should be done this way" and "So and so does it that way" and "No you can't do that because everybody else says you can't". What's better is to not focus on what is and should be done, but rather on how it is done and why.

One that same note, everybody always talks about "rules" and how "there are no rules in art" - this is true, but the key is to know how to balance logic and creativity.

Great to see you traffic improvements, well done!

I looked a post I made in June 2006 and a couple of the things I mentioned didn't pan out. I was gonna make a platform game as a "hobby" with some other people but none of us did anything! Also I got fruityloops and got really into it but got so busy with my game development that I have hardly used it since :-(

I've been interested in game development for about 2 years now, and I have several notebooks full of game ideas, programming methods, business ideas, etc. Its really interesting to see how it has all evolved.
