Think of China. An independent, open-source developer says something anti-China, and they decide to block all of Sourceforge. They've also blocked Wikipedia on occasion. Instead of complaining you should adapt. It's a new business model and your only option is to embrace it or loose out. Think of it as evolution or survival of the fittest. Hopefully, the governments will realize this and stop trying. The only people who are set to lose out from all of this are the average Joes.
