    The problem with MSVPC is that the emulated graphics card sucks, not exactly good for testing games…

    Gog (http://www.gog.com) sells old games for very cheap, and they are supposedly compatible with XP and Vista. I haven’t tried them myself though.

  3. GOG.com uses DosBox to run those games, performance can be little iffy. I bought my copy of Stonekeep from there even though I have boxed copy (with that cool hologram skeleton). I got it running on my own before but GOG provided my with nice installer and pre-configured settings for DosBox enviroment. So it all works.
