Birthday Lesson

I’m turning 29 years right about now.

Here’s a pretty good lesson that I’ve pondered today: “I gotta think more about doing the stuff I wanna do.”

With increasing number of responsibilities and stuff I’ve been pondering that I also want to ensure that I use my time the way I want to spend it. I could say “spend your time wisely”, but I don’t. Since I can also spend time “unwisely”. I can go to sofa and stair the wall paint for an hour if that’s what makes me tick.

Perhaps you get the point.

  1. Hah!

    Thanks guys

  2. I thought you were older than that… Great, now I feel even older. :P

Well, happy belated birthday at any rate. ;)

  3. Oops! Missed this post.

    Belated Happy Birthday!

I know exactly what you mean about time and responsibilities! :)

  4. Happy Birthday!

Yep important thoughts because your spare time is about to plummet for several years. Having a baby is an amazing experience, very rewarding but also very tiring and it totally changes what you are able to do. Probably a great time to be working at home though!

  5. Thanks man, it certainly is my birthday today!

  6. Sounds like your birthday is today.

    So: Happy Birthday!

I know those thoughs very well. I became 29 myself two weeks ago. Seems to be something each “life decade approach” brings with it. Makes me rethink and adjust my goals. IMHO a good thing, keeps me on track.
