Yeah,
I've had the same trouble.

Ironically enough, I would use my Flickr/Yahoo account WAY more if I could use my gmail (or Facebook) account to authenticate.

Oracle does the same thing on their (fugly) website, but it's 10x more confusing. You have to go through a ridiculous process just to grab some JDBC drivers. Ugh.

Hi,

Man, don't be shy about it. It IS the Flicker account, hence you have pictures of yourself in there validating that as your account.

Send them an e-mail and tell them so, and politely and ask for your account back.

It's actually doable in this case due to the picture validation, it would be also nice if you could provide SAME PHOTOS as you uploaded to even more prove who you are.

Hope you get your account back.

Yeah, Flickr/Yahoo! support is really, really terrible. I once deleted an old Yahoo account because I forgot that it was tied to the Flickr login. Not 10 minutes later I had an "Oh s***!" moment, went straight back in to cancel the deletion and followed all their instructions. Did it get deleted anyway? Yup. I got an auto-responder telling me that they'd get back to me. Did a human ever respond to my emails to support? Hell, no.

This must have been at least 3 years ago. I guess they haven't changed.
