Hello guys,

I jumped in and helped a friend to finish his game. Monster Mega Mayhem is a 3D Score Brawler, in which you have to score as many points as possible (kinda obvious, isn't it?). You get points for a kill, for scaring some kids or collecting some bonus objects. Along the levels you'll be meeting with some friends of yours, who help you out with time or some health. But beware: once time's up its payback time. And only what's beneath the thong counts! You play one of three monsters, featuring Lucy, a vegetarian vampire, Jack, the pumpkin-scarecrow or Kevin, a Frankenstein-monster made from plasticine and a battery ;)

You'll find the demo, the trailer, screenshots, information and a link to BUY the game on my website:

as well on the website of my friend who sells the game ultra cheap online via ShareIt!:

Please don't tell me that the game looks outdated... my friend began it 3 or 4 years ago and its a plain wonder that it's finished. So please be patient and look through the eyes of an amateur :)

If you are interested in other games I participated on, please have a look on my website (you'll find the link in my signature).

I'm with Juuso - the game looks visually very professional, I think cel shading is back in vogue at the moment (thanks in part to the new Simpsons game), hope you managed to catch the Halloween market!

BTW - I looked at the Trixie minisite, did you use the cute graphics from Danc's Lost Garden site? It's one very disturbing looking game (and I mean that in a nice way :))

Hey there,

thanks for the replies! There is each summer a big hobby - gamedeveloper meeting in Germany near Frankfurt where amateurs and sometimes professionals meet each other, its called "Dusmania". Whatever, there is each year an overnight contest and we got a CD with graphics content and all this cute fairy stuff was on it.. after googling I can confirm that its from this "lost garden" page ^^ we decided around.. ehrm .. midnight that we enter it, too - it was so much fun to make something .. like.. that ^^ ehrm. After 5 hours of coding, beer and making bloodthirsty graphics and sounds I fell asleep.

We are planning to make maybe a sequel next year.

Wow. That is random. And I thought my sense of humour was twisted. :)

You've got a really unique style there, so if you can find a market then you'll have it all to yourself! Good luck.

Hey congratulations on completing MMM! That game looks sweet! I loved the trailer, somehow I think this game, being a "3D Score Brawler" is VERY XBLA friendly! Have you thought about porting the game to a platform like Live Arcade?

Good luck with the sales!

Hey there,

what means "somehow I think this game, being a "3D Score Brawler" is VERY XBLA friendly!" (I'm german and this phrase is.. well I don't get it).

I'm glad you like it :) We don't plan to port it, but my friend is planning a sequel which will be much better in terms of graphics, content and challenges. If you like it, maybe you can post it on your blog or somewhere, the sales aren't "established" yet.

Cheers, Christian

What I meant is I think this type of game (genre? I don't know german, I'd love to learn so I could just write it in german :) ) is very adequate for consoles, XBLA is Xbox Live Arcade (downloadable games for the Xbox 360 platform).

I'm considering getting the game, and spending some time with it to give you in-depth feedback!

whoaw ^^ I read "XBLA" as x-bla.. blabla.. (sort of kidding) whatever ;)

That would be really nice - have fun!
